Circumferential and radial coil strapping machines
Leader in the metalworking sector, Itipack manufactures and supplies circumferential and radial coil strapping machines for steel and aluminum coils.
The radial strapping machines are used to apply the straps through the coil eye and come in 2 main models:
– the mod. SKC is designed for coils with axis parallel to transport direction
– the mod. SKD is designed for coils with axis perpendicular to transport direction.
All models can be either in fixed or movable version.
The circumferential strapping machines are used to apply the straps to the outside diameter of the coils and also come in 2 main models:
– the mod. SKB is designed for coils with axis parallel to transport direction
– the mod. SKE is designed for coils with axis perpendicular to transport direction
All models can be either in fixed or movable version.
Each model is specifically customized around the customer’s needs and facility.
Built with a heavy-duty structure to withstand even the most critical environments and highest temperatures, Itipack coil strapping systems can be provided with 2 different kinds of sealless joints for the steel strap: either notching or Argon welding joint. All systems are suitable for both cold and hot coils and come with a wide variety of options to meet customer’s requirements. Alternatively, for cold applications the machines can also be fitted with a PET strapping head for max 32 mm PET straps, which offer a cost-effective solution while providing equivalent quality.
