Stainless steel cold-heading wire

Raajratna Italy supplies stainless steel and nickel alloy wire for cold heading, manufactured at the facilities of Raajratna Metal Industries Ltd. in India. The wire is used in the production of screws, bolts, rivets, nuts, and other fastening elements for the mechanical, automotive, aerospace, and construction industries.
Technical features
Raajratna cold heading wire is available in various grades and finishes, with diameters ranging from 1.00 mm to 25.00 mm. It is free from surface defects such as scratches, drawing marks, cracks, or small cavities. Production complies with international standards such as ASTM A493, AMS 5853, JIS G4315, and other equivalent specifications.

Upon request, the wire can be centerless ground to ensure an even smoother and more regular surface. Copper or copper–molybdenum coated wire is also available up to 13.00 mm in diameter, making it ideal for high-precision cold heading applications.
The company uses only European- and Japanese-sourced drawing salts and lubricants that are free from hazardous substances.
Packaging and logistics
Cold heading wire is supplied in different packaging formats to suit various production lines:
• Coated coils, weight range 250–500 kg
• Annealed coils, weight range 200–300 kg
• Steel spools with 2–3 coils per unit, total weight range 500–1,500 kg
