Calcium drawing powder for rod and wire
Kodiak develops EZDraw™ calcium drawing powders for applications including rod breakdown, coated alloy rod, chemically cleaned and mechanically descaled rod and wire, and welding or lacing wire. The range includes formulations with different soap richness levels and additive packages, with selected products combining extreme pressure additives and lubricity agents to enhance lubricant pick-up on descaled rod.

EZDraw™ 99T: a medium rich powder recommended for rod breakdown and also used for drawing coated alloy rod.
EZDraw™ 19: a medium rich, general-purpose soap for all carbon steels, recommended for both chemically cleaned and mechanically descaled rod and wire.
EZDraw™ 57: a medium rich powder recommended for carbon steel rod breakdown and also used for drawing coated alloy rod.
EZDraw™ 39: a lean calcium soap powder designed to enhance lubricant pick-up on descaled rod.
EZDraw™ 41T: a medium rich drawing powder recommended for carbon steel rod breakdown and drafting coated and uncoated carbon steel.
EZDraw™ 58: a medium rich calcium soap recommended for high-speed, multiple-hole drawing of carbon steel rod and wire. Typical applications include welding or lacing wire.
EZDraw™ 80: a moderately rich soap powder containing extreme pressure and lubricity enhancers for drawing high carbon and stainless steel. It is commonly used in the first several die boxes for rod breakdown, followed by a rich sodium soap on a high-speed multi-hole draw.
