Spiral brushes for rod and wire
Kodiak supplies AZWipe™ spiral brushes for removing excess scale, rust, coatings, and lubricant residue from rod and wire. Designed for easy installation and removal, these brushes can help reduce lubricant usage as well as the need for cleaners and acids.
AZWipe™ spiral brushes range and sizes
AZWipe™ spiral brushes are typically installed in front of the ripper box, but different brush types can be used depending on operational requirements. They can also be installed within the die line-up, on a cleaning line, before or after a furnace, or before a welder.
AZWipe™ spiral brushes are easily cut into 3- to 4-inch lengths, depending on the amount of scale, rust, lubricant residue, or coating that needs to be removed. For improved cleaning performance, two 4-inch lengths can be used instead of one longer length.
The brushes are available in 39-inch lengths. The range includes:
