Muffle and Tube Furnaces

The QED Muffle Furnace heat-treats multiple wire strands in a protective environment to control scale formation. The furnaces are heated by special high velocity burners mounted along both furnace sides in a staggered pattern. Providing excellent heat transfer and temperature uniformity, the burners are controlled by QED’s patented Pressure Control System. To achieve optimum thermal efficiency we use several layers of high quality refractory to establish low furnace skin temperatures and increase operator safety.
