TIG/Plasma hot wire welding systems

In addition to the cold wire welding systems, LE.DI.CA. also offers TIG/Plasma hot wire welding systems, which are desirable when it is necessary to fill large thickness seams (from 15 mm upwards).

In this case, the wire is feeded into the weld pool at a high temperature. The process is also up 3 times faster than cold wire feeding, which makes it possible to fill the seams with fewer passes.

The wire temperature is controlled by a current generator, which heats the wire surface before the dive into the weld pool.
