Horizontal dry drawing lines

The MaiaStar-DO is a flexible dry drawing and rolling line equipped with horizontal axis capstans and direct short dancers, particularly suited for the production of different steel wires.

This innovative line can draw high-resistance and temperature sensitive products such as medium- or high-carbon wires thanks to a pressurized cooling water system which guarantees higher heat transfer values. Its specific configuration enables a view of all components, thus making operator’s intervention fast and easy. Moreover, dust is naturally collected on the machine bottom and then eliminated through a specific exhaustion system.

The MaiaStar-DO can be combined with a static coiler, a horizontal spooler, rolling cassettes, manual strapping machines, and rotating die boxes, as well as supervision software for production data.

Last but not least, the line requires very little foundation work, as all the service conduits are installed in advance, resulting in a simple installation and easy relocation of the machine.
