CET ("Comité Européen de la Tréfilerie")
Wire associations

GBUnited Kingdom

CET ("Comité Européen de la Tréfilerie") is the organisation representing the wire-drawing industry in the EU. It is a union of national associations and was founded in 1970.
Its aims are to promote:   -the interests of European manufacturers of wire and wire products; -represent the industry to the European Commission and other relevant institutions;
-provide information and services to members;
-represent members in scientific and technical organisations dealing with problems relative to wire and wire products;   Membership is open to national associations representing steel wire drawers in the EU. In EU countries where there is no national association, companies may apply to join as direct members. It is a condition of membership that the company draws wire within the EU.   We also currently have one Associate Member in Turkey, and other EU countries peripheral to the EU could also be considered on a case by case basis. For more details contact Graeme Craig.   Please note that CET itself does not buy, sell or manufacture wire.
