MTM EXPO Shanghai 2026 will take place from December 3 to 5, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in Shanghai, China. This annual trade fair dedicated to the steel and metallurgy industry will revolve around the theme “Ecological Development and Smart Future.”

About the organizers of MTM EXPO Shanghai 2026

The event is organized by Shanghai Shenshi Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., in cooperation with major industry associations such as the China Chamber of Commerce for Metallurgical Enterprises, China Refractory Industry Association, and China Steel Pipe Association.
Originally launched in 1986 as the Shanghai International Metallurgy Industry Expo, MTM EXPO Shanghai has grown over four decades into a comprehensive one-stop sourcing platform covering the entire steel and metallurgy supply chain.

The 40th edition of MTM EXPO Shanghai will feature seven thematic exhibitions:

About the previous edition and outlook for MTM EXPO Shanghai 2025

The 2025 edition, held in December 2025 in Shanghai, attracted 930 exhibitors and 31,589 visitors from 66 countries.
For MTM EXPO Shanghai 2026, organizers expect an even larger scale: around 50,000 m² of exhibition space, 1,000 exhibitors, and more than 40,000 professional visitors from across the globe.
