About EIFI
EIFI, a non-profit organization registered under Belgian law, serves as the recognized representative body for the European Fasteners Manufacturing Industry and its extensive Supply Chain. This encompasses producers of essential industrial fasteners such as bolts, screws, washers, nuts, and rivets, crafted from both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, alongside other mechanical industrial fasteners. EIFI is also a member of the AEGIS Europe Industry Alliance, underscoring its commitment to broader European industrial interests.
Mission and Activities
EIFI acts as the primary voice for the European Fastener Industry, including manufacturers and their supply chain, engaging with the market and institutions across economic, professional, technical, and scientific domains. The organization functions as a reflection forum for strategic and operational industry issues and a crucial think tank connecting stakeholders with institutional bodies, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and distributors. Key activities include coordinating technical field efforts and international standardization, contributing to a fair playing field for the industry, and fostering dialogue between Europe and the rest of the world on pertinent topics. EIFI also promotes analysis and discussions within its Market Groups and Operating Committees, undertaking studies, research, and collaborations with various economic, professional, technical, and scientific institutes.
Membership Structure
EIFI's membership is diverse, structured to include various entities within the fastener ecosystem. 'Full Members A' comprise National Associations of Fastener Producers in Europe, while 'Full Members C' are individual Fastener Manufacturing Companies across the continent. 'Affiliated Members' consist of European companies that are producers within the supply chain of either Full Members A or C. Additionally, 'Associated Members' are European companies recognized as leading providers of legal, finance, consulting, training, and HR services, further enriching the organization's expertise and support network.
