The George Evans Corporation (GEC), established in 1915 and incorporated in 1926, brings over a century of manufacturing expertise. Situated in Moline, Illinois, its 110,000 square foot plant on River Drive benefits from strategic logistical access. GEC has a rich history, initially serving prominent local customers like Allis-Chalmers and Deere & Company, and later expanding to telephone and electrical cable manufacturers. The company's resilience is notable, having navigated record floods, The Great Depression, World Wars, and economic instability. Capabilities include handling material thicknesses from 0.024 to 0.375 inches, with laser cutting up to 1 inch thick mild steel and 0.5 inch thick stainless steel. The facility features CNC angle & bar processing, bar & sheet/light plate rolling, full machining with Mazak equipment, assembly, hardware insertion, packing, and shipping. For specialized treatments, GEC collaborates with external specialty shops.
