Butt welding specialist Strecker at wire South America: the exhibits

At wire South America, to be held at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (Brazil) from October 6 to 8, the butt welding machines specialist AUGUST STRECKER GmbH & Co. KG will exhibit three types of machines:

- An electric strand butt welder type SE 2, for stranded copper conductors 0,35-16 mm² or stranded aluminum conductors 1,50-16 mm²
- A cold welder type KSC 400 for copper wire dias. 0,80 - 4,0 mm, aluminum wire dias. 0,8 - 4,0 mm
- A cold welding gun type KSCZ 160, for copper or aluminum wire dias. 0,30 - 1,70 mm

The Germany-based company, acknowledged leader when it comes to manufacturing buttwelding machines for the most varied needs of the wire and cable industry, will be present at booth no. 612/713. Attending the show, ready to answer all questions or doubts, there will be the sales director Mrs Sigrun Moebus.

Strecker, founded more than 80 years ago, is enjoying an excellent reputation for its reliable machinery and excellent service, given by more than 70 skilled employees working on company-owned premises in the city of Limburg, conveniently located at about 70 km from Frankfurt.

Strecker's welders are well represented in many renowned national and international wire and cable factories. The majority of the company's production is exported to more than 110 countries all over the world. There are more than 40 representative offices worldwide assisting customers from the very first contact, e.g. to choose the right product, adapt it to individual needs until final delivery, sometimes including commissioning of these special machines.
Participating in European as well as overseas exhibitions also helps to further promote the trademark of Strecker's butt welders.

Strecker's production program includes, in short:

- Butt welding machines for all kinds of wires starting from 0.04 mm dia. only up to about 60 mm dia. max. for solid steel and 56 mm dia. max. for solid non-ferrous wires, including welders with automatic deburring cycle.
For steel there are buttwelders with different annealing devices available, suiting the needs of the most varied steel grades.
- Buttwelders for stranded conductors starting from 0.08 mm² up to about 2,500 mm². Welding by means of tubes or without any tubes at all (with automatic deburring!).
- Cold pressure buttwelders with automatic deburring cycle.
- Wide specialized range for the most varied applications, e.g. buttwelding machines for steel cord,
battery-operated parting guns for steel cord or steel strands, electric wire buttwelding guns, high-output buttwelding machines for the production of wire-made mass articles
- Special purpose welding machines, tailored to the individual customer's needs
