Major investments and many new features for screw manufacturer Viteria Dell'Era

Change is in the air at Dell'Era Ermanno & Figlio: on the eve of its centenary, the company has renewed itself with a massive investment campaign for more than 1 million euros.

This large-scale project has covered several aspects of the company, starting with logistics and supply. The construction of a new large warehouse of 1200 square meters has recently been completed, allowing the company to increase the stocks of finished products and raw materials available.

The process of innovation has also involved production. Quarta Evo, the new static process control program (SPC) for the quality check of the fasteners, integrated with the Mes SK-GO!, ensures even greater reliability and workflow monitoring. Furthermore, thanks to the installation of a fourth Dimac MCV1 machine for the optical dimensional control of pieces through high-resolution digital cameras, Dell’Era can now guarantee an all-time high quality level.

Last but not least, the 4.0 coverage of Schwer + Kopka GmbH terminals with remote control and onboard computers has finally been completed. This brings the number of connected machines to 28, confirming the company's technological footprint.
