Products and Core Technologies

CGR's core business is cold forming, a process that transforms metals below their recrystallization temperature to enhance strength and surface properties. This expertise extends to a diverse range of products and services, including the custom manufacture of wire springs (compression, torsion, tension, micro-springs), flat springs, coiled springs, and clips using materials like steel, stainless steel, and copper alloys. The company also excels in forming, coiling, cutting, punching, laminating, welding, and assembly of parts from tubes, wires, cables, and sheet metal.

In mechatronics, CGR produces functional parts such as pressfit connectors, metal-plastic sub-assemblies, and offers overmolding and automated assembly services, notably for its patented EloPIN® PressFit® connectors. Precision machining capabilities include wire and sink electro-erosion (EDM), turning, milling, and drilling, capable of achieving precision down to 3 µm. CGR develops and manufactures its own production tools and assembly lines in-house, ensuring comprehensive control over the entire production process.
