VIOD springs, founded in 1950, is one of the largest spring producers in the Netherlands, specializing in the development, production, and testing of compression springs, extension springs, and torsion springs. The company became part of the Alcomex Group in October 2019, while maintaining its independence, organization, location, and name.
The company's core expertise lies in manufacturing springs from thicker wire materials, serving both automotive and industrial sectors. Their production capabilities include working with various materials such as KI-C spring wire (0.2-18mm), stainless wire (0.2-15mm), Chrome-Vanadium (10-80mm), Chrome-silicon (1-16mm), and square spring steel (1-10mm).
VIOD springs' product portfolio includes automotive springs (replacement, rally, racing, lowering, and 4WD springs), their own brand of motorcycle springs (Q-springs, launched in 2014), and industrial springs for various sectors including agriculture, petrochemistry, aviation, and construction. The company manufactures all products according to DIN standards and holds NEN-ISO 9001-2015 certification.
The company operates with advanced, computer-controlled fully automatic and semi-automatic machines, lathes, automatic grinding machines, shot blasting installations, hardening and tempering ovens, and their own epoxy painting shop.
