The industrial activity of Mollificio Bergamasco began in 1963, when the Brigati family plunged into the production of custom-designed precision springs. The purchase of new machines in the 1980s and the change of production site in 1999 gave a decisive boost to the evolution of the Italian company. Today, Mollificio Bergamasco is one of the leading firms in the spring manufacturing sector. The company’s machine shop is rich and assorted: Bihler, Minster, and Bruderer machines allow punching and bending operations, while Shinko, Wafios, and Simplex machines are dedicated to spring production.

The corporate strategy is based on three key concepts: specialization, global quality orientation, and constant updating. Since the early 2000s, the company has been reserving 5-10% of its turnover for training projects dedicated to its employees and R&D department. The constant investments in technology and digitalization result in the highest degree of control throughout the various operations: each production phase is automatically monitored thanks to lasers or cameras, as well as by highly specialized operators. Finally, the handling and organization of logistics are carried out through modern pieces of software that ensure a coordinated management process.
