Automated Packaging Systems
Lamiflex offers advanced automated systems to optimize packaging. The flagship MultiWrapper is an award-winning, patented robot-based stretch-film wrapping machine, wrapping a standard coil in just four minutes, including automated film roll exchange. Available in single or twin-cell configurations, it integrates with main production lines via Industry 4.0 communication or operates standalone, with optional automated coil edge protection. For entry-level automation, the PushWrapper provides efficient coil stretch-wrapping. The iTube solution is tailored for semi-automated stretch-wrapping of tube and bar bundles, ideal for service centers and mid-size facilities, enhancing ergonomics and efficiency.
Specialized Packaging Materials
Complementing its machinery, Lamiflex provides a comprehensive range of packaging materials. Lamistretch heavy-duty stretch-films are designed for automated wrapping of steel or aluminum coils and bundles, available with reinforcements (String, Armour) and Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) additives for superior corrosion protection. Lamishield foam plastic offers robust coil body protection, while Lamiedge provides diverse edge protection options, including flexible plastic (POP), adjustable plastic rings (PBP), and carton-based solutions (COP). The Lamiflex board, made from wood fibers, paper, and plastic, serves as a durable, insect-resistant, and waterproof alternative to wooden crates for pipes, bars, and other long goods.
Sustainability and Flexible Financing
Lamiflex is committed to sustainability, operating an active recycling concept where plastic packaging is collected, processed into reusable pellets, and utilized in new material production, including PCR plastic. The company also offers a reuse program for its Lamiflex board in Europe. To facilitate the adoption of its automated solutions, Lamiflex provides the Lamifree financing model. This innovative approach allows companies to implement new machines without a capital investment, instead paying a monthly service fee that is discounted based on their packaging material purchases, potentially leading to a free solution for large-scale producers, ensuring flexibility and scalability.
