Borax-free sodium soaps
Traxit Wire Lubrication provides the wire drawing industry with a complete range of borax-free lubricants for low-, medium-, and high-carbon wire.
Traxit C 612 is a boron-free sodium soap containing calcium with a medium fat content and a high melting point. This product, best used for mechanically descaled wire in the first passes, shows a high stability against pressure and temperature and is dedicated for the production of low- to high-carbon wires, preferably used with pressure dies to obtain a greater performance.
Traxit SL 808 B / Traxit F 80 B / Traxit V 60 B are boron-free sodium soaps with a high fat content and low melting point. Particularly suitable for high tensile wire, either pickled and phosphated, or mechanically descaled, these products are used for high speed machines.
Traxit SL 4040 is designed for super high tensile wire at high speeds. It is boron free sodium soaps with high softening points, suitable for all passes, of acid cleaned, but also of mechanically descaled wires with salt coated surfaces. Especially SL 4040 shows a reduced consumption compared to all others.
Traxit V 15 SX is a borax-free sodium soap with a high fat content and a low melting point. The product is not classified as hazardous under the CLP
Regulation. Thanks to its good lubricant pick-up and its ability to form a durable lubricating film, Traxit V 15 SX is particularly suitable for drawing galvanised and zinc-aluminium-coated wires in a wide range of dimensions.
Its high-performance lubrication helps maintain stable process conditions and consistent wire surface quality.
