Dynamex offers Hi-Speed Single-Twist Cablers for insulated wires and Single-Twist Bunchers for bare copper and aluminum wires. These PLC-controlled machines feature advanced recipes and diagnostics, available in sizes from 24' to 48' and 630 to 1250. Both cablers and bunchers include built-in hydraulic load/unload systems, eliminating the need for a pit. The cablers are suitable for in-line taping, while the bunchers are designed for various constructions including bunching, stranding, and rope.
Precision Payoffs and Tensioning Systems
The company's product line includes multi-position payoffs (4-20 positions) for bare and insulated wires, each featuring individually driven regenerative drives and pneumatic dancers for constant tension. The pintle-type driven payoff offers single-position control with pneumatic power pintles. For wires fed from stem-packs, the multi-wire regen tensioner provides electronically adjustable tension across 4, 6, or 8 wire positions, each with an individual broken-wire sensor. The 4-position neutralizing payoff ensures wires maintain their original condition during group twisting, with PLC-controlled tension and broken-wire sensors.
Advanced Taping Solutions
Dynamex provides a suite of innovative auto-splicing tape payoffs for high-speed extrusion and cabler lines. Models facilitate in-line taping at speeds up to 1,500 FPM, automatically cutting and splicing new tape to minimize scrap and operator intervention. Other tape payoffs cater to standard in-line taping, longitudinal taping, and cabler integration, delivering tape at constant tension with PLC control and alerts. Complementing these are Dial-In-Angle Redirectors, which provide precise tape twisting angles for smooth, crease-free wrapping of cables, including a wide tapes redirector for up to 6' wide tape. A 4-pair simultaneous-taping unit further enhances efficiency for cabler lines.
