Maillefer’s House of Experts at wire India 2026, with Siccon in the spotlight
After wire China in Shanghai, Maillefer’s next international appointment is wire India 2026, where the spotlight falls on Siccon, its cable position monitoring system.
Siccon: tracking the cable inside the tube
Siccon is an inductive measuring system integrated into the production line. It determines the exact position of the cable within the vulcanization tube, helping ensure consistent cable quality throughout the curing process. Developed by Maillefer together with Sikora, it was already among the technologies on show at wire Düsseldorf earlier this year.
Inductive sensors read the magnetic field generated around the conductor and show the cable position as a deviation from the tube’s mid-position, so operators can adjust it from the operations room via Maillefer’s Process Supervising Unit (PSU). It suits CCV lines already in operation as well as new ones, with spare parts and support from Maillefer’s aftermarket team.

The booth’s theme, “House of Experts,” reflects Maillefer’s aim of bringing specialist knowledge, advanced technology and comprehensive aftermarket support together to help visitors meet their production goals.
Beyond Siccon, the booth is built around hands-on discovery. A walk through the Cable Forest offers premium cable samples and insights into innovative CV line technology, while an interactive 3D experience lets visitors explore the Vertical Line up close.
Maillefer’s experts will also be on hand to present and discuss VCV (vertical continuous vulcanization) Vertical Line, Intelligent Induction, ACC (Automatic Crosshead Centering), Round, NXW 225-22D and Synchronized X-Ray, solutions that showcase efficient, reliable and high-quality cable production.
