ANDRITZ SALICO to supply high-flexibility slitting line to Northern European service center
ANDRITZ SALICO has secured a new order from a major Northern European service center for the supply of a high-performance slitting line, designed to provide maximum flexibility in processing a wide range of steel and aluminum products.
A versatile slitting line for steel and aluminum processing
The new ANDRITZ SALICO line will process coils up to 2,150 mm wide, with material thicknesses ranging from 1.0 to 15.0 mm. Its versatile configuration will enable the service center to process different grades and types of material, meeting the diverse needs of its customers.
The line will be suitable for processing the following materials:
- Hot-rolled and cold-rolled carbon steel
- Galvanized steel
- Pickled steel
- Hot-rolled stainless steel
- Hot-rolled aluminum
The broad range of materials and thicknesses makes this new slitting line a highly flexible solution, capable of supporting the service center’s production requirements while maintaining high standards of precision, reliability, and operational efficiency. The new slitting line is scheduled to start production in Q4 2027.
