Originating as Schaum & Uhlinger, the company has evolved into a global brand for weaving, twisting, and winding machines. In 1959, operations moved from Philadelphia to Southern Pines, North Carolina, and subsequently consolidated into a single 60,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Southern Pines, housing fabrication, machining, and assembly.
