Italchimici S.p.A. is a well-established metals and chemicals company that evolved from a post-World War II commercial business founded by Giuseppe Bolognini. In the copper division, the company utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including an Outokumpu UPCAST® plant for continuous casting of oxygen-free high-conductivity copper wire. Their 5000 m² facility in Lumezzane produces both CuOF2000 oxygen-free and PHOS2000 phosphor-bearing copper products.
The precious metals division, LMP, established in 1985, specializes in silver manufacturing, producing semi-finished products for both industrial and electroplating applications. The facility features modern equipment for casting, rolling, annealing, and extrusion processes, supported by a sophisticated testing laboratory for quality control.
