A key differentiator is its ability to apply digital technology to outdoor surfaces, thanks to a tested mix of organic and inorganic paints and carefully selected primers. Cromatica leverages the infinite recyclability and low carbon footprint of steel, making it a sustainable choice. Applications span architectural cladding, urban furniture, luxury yacht interiors, automotive exteriors, and customized appliances, providing both visual and tactile customization for diverse industries.
Extensive Steel Product Portfolio and Global Reach
Marcegaglia's comprehensive product range extends beyond customized solutions. The group is a major provider of carbon steel products, including pickled, cold rolled, galvanized, and prepainted coils, strips, and sheets, alongside a vast selection of welded tubes for automotive, mechanical, and energy sectors. Marcegaglia Heavy Plates specializes in quarto plates, producing approximately 1 million tons annually for critical industrial applications like boilers and pressure vessels. Its Specialties division is a leading global producer of stainless steel welded tubes, coils, strips, and bars, catering to chemical, pharmaceutical, and heavy vehicle industries.
