Products and Services
Kunj Forgings specializes in a comprehensive range of forged components for the oil, gas, and industrial sectors. Their product portfolio encompasses Christmas Tree Equipment, including Well Heads and Tubing Heads, available in various pressure ratings up to 20000 PSI. They also provide API Flanges, Blocks & Connectors, with sizes ranging from 1 13/16' to 13 5/8' (6B & 6Bx). A wide array of flanges, such as Slip On, Weld Neck, and Blind types, are manufactured, compliant with standards like ANSI B 16.5 and DIN, with pressure classes up to 2500 lbs. Additional offerings include Forged Rounds/Shafts, Spectacle Blind & Fig-8 Flanges, Casted/Forged Valve Bodies & Bonnets, Wind Mill Gear Box Forgings, and Forged Gear Blanks & Shafts. These components can be produced up to 1800 mm diameter for rings and 500 mm for shafts, with a maximum weight of 4500 kgs per piece. Products are primarily crafted from Carbon Steel, Low Alloy Steel, and various grades of Stainless Steel.
Manufacturing and Quality Assurance
The company operates advanced manufacturing facilities, featuring band-saw machines, 3 press hammers, and 3 ring rolling hammers capable of producing forgings up to 2200 mm diameter and 5000 kgs weight, supported by 5 heating furnaces. Machining capabilities include CNC, vertical, and multi-spindle drill machines, facilitating a production capacity of approximately 1000 MT per month. Kunj Forgings maintains an in-house QC lab for comprehensive inspection and testing, covering chemical analysis, mechanical tests, and NDT methods such as Hardness Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and Spectrometer analysis. The company holds numerous national and international approvals, including from Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), and Saudi Aramco (under final stage), alongside certifications like PED - BVQI and Lloyd's Shipbuilding.
