Introduction to the Arvedi Group
The Arvedi Group operates as an integrated entity, managing the entire steel production process from raw materials to finished products. Advanced Production Technology
A cornerstone of the Group's operations is the innovative 'Arvedi ESP' (Endless Strip Production) process technology. This method involves casting steel into thin slabs that are then rolled in-line and continuously to produce steel coils. This process facilitates the production of top-quality, ultrathin steels while consuming minimal energy. The efficiency of the Arvedi ESP process is notable, transforming liquid steel into a final product in approximately 180 metres and five minutes.
Sustainable Steel Solutions: Arvzero™
Acciaieria Arvedi produces Arvzero™, a specialized carbon steel developed to contribute to the reduction of climate-changing gases. This steel is produced and managed such that all direct production emissions are fully compensated, aligning with Scope 1 and Scope 2 parameters of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Arvzero™ is processed at the Group's Cremona and Trieste works and has found applications in the automotive sector, including for brake pads with ITT Italia S.r.l. and for motor vehicle modules with the German Group Craemer, supporting their decarbonisation efforts.
Diverse Product Portfolio and Certifications
Beyond Arvzero™, the Arvedi Group offers a range of steel products, including cold-drawn welded carbon steel tubes, flat-rolled stainless steel, and stainless steel precision strip. The Group's commitment to quality and environmental responsibility is further demonstrated by Acciaieria Arvedi and Arvedi Tubi Acciaio obtaining the TISAX® label. Acciaieria Arvedi was also recognized as a 'Sustainability Champion' for 2024/2025 by the German Quality Institute (ITQF), underscoring its dedication to sustainable practices and social responsibility.
