Specialized Lancing and Piping Solutions
The company's Calorised & Ceramic Coated Pipes (CCCP) are engineered for oxygen lancing in steelmaking, offering a 5-8 times longer life than conventional pipes. These pipes feature a five-layer construction with calorisation and refractory coating, forming a protective Aluminium Oxide Film that withstands temperatures up to 2050°C. Applications include decarburization, slag elimination, and powder injections. Kandi's Burning / Thermal Lances provide exothermic cutting capabilities for various materials, including steel, non-ferrous metals, and concrete, reaching temperatures of 3600°C (7200°F) without preheat, ideal for scrap cutting, clearing tap holes, and demolition.
Advanced Electrode and Flow Control Systems
Kandi Engineering manufactures Coated Graphite Electrodes primarily for Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steel production. The multi-layered coating protects against oxidation, maintains electrode diameter, and significantly increases current carrying capacity by 20-25%, reducing overall electrode consumption by up to 25%. Their Manually Operated Slide-Gate System offers a reliable and easy-to-operate solution for pouring liquid steel from ladles up to 30 MT capacity. This system, designed for the Indian steel industry, replaces conventional stopper-rod mechanisms, requiring minimal effort and simple maintenance.
Industrial Coated Pipes and Refractory Lances
The company also offers Special Epoxy / Polyester Powder Coated Pipes for gas and water lines. These pipes are corrosion-resistant, available in various colors, and can be epoxy coated internally for added protection. They are produced in diameters ranging from 15mm to 100mm, with a daily production capacity of 9,000 meters. Additionally, Kandi Engineering provides custom-designed Refractory / Monolithic Injection Lances. These composite lances, made from thermally stable and slag-resistant vibrocast materials, are used for decarburization, chemical heating, gas injection, and powder injection, contributing to improved steel purity and extended refractory lifetime.
