TUBI S.p.A., established in 1984 and headquartered in Sambuceto (Chieti), Italy, is a leading manufacturer of welded and seamless steel pipes. The company operates through three industrial facilities located in Chieti, Rieti, and Rovigo, covering a total area of 110,000 m2 with 35,000 m2 of covered production space.
In 2005, the company expanded by acquiring Fratelli TORDA steel pipe factory in Cittaducale (Rieti), which specializes in steel pipe production and special components using submerged arc welding, with an annual production capacity of 40,000 tons. The Borsea (Rovigo) plant, operational since 2012, focuses on external polyethylene coating and hot-dip galvanizing.
The company produces pipes ranging from 1/2 inch (OD 21.3 mm) to 180 inches (OD 4,572 mm) for various applications including water lines, hydroelectric plants, gas pipes, district heating, general fluids, and structural use. Their production complies with major national and international standards such as UNI, EN, ISO, API, DIN, B.S., AWWA, and ASTM.
TUBI S.p.A. offers comprehensive coating solutions, including internal coatings (epoxy, bituminous, inorganic zinc) and external coatings (bitumen, polyethylene, polyurethane). The company's quality management system is certified to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 standards.
