In 2020, Leosteel joined forces with D&E Reinforcing, enhancing their offerings from the Faure facility while aiming to provide improved pricing. Post Ten, another division, designs, supplies, and installs Post Tensioning systems for construction, including slab system design, installation, stressing, structural strengthening, cable repair, and concrete repair. They utilize 7-wire plastic sheathed strand to B.S. 5896 super grade material in 12.9mm (U.T.S. 186Kn) and 15.7mm (U.T.S. 265Kn) diameters, with stressing equipment calibrated annually by S.A.B.S.
Fabrication and Supplies
D & E Group's fabrication capabilities include various processes to shape, assemble, and join steel, alongside finishing processes for construction projects. They provide steel cutting, bending, and punching services for thicknesses ranging from 0.4mm to 20mm, processing materials such as mild steel, cold rolled steel, galvanised steel, chromadek, stainless steel, and aluminium. The product inventory further extends to building and construction supplies like cover blocks, spacers, DPC, Brickforce, and various types of steel products including tubing, bars, structural beams, channels, speciality steels, hot & cold rolled sheets, slit coils, roof sheeting (IBR Corr, Chromadek), walkway grating, handrails, wires (slab, PC stress, binding, H drawn), welding accessories, and clear view fencing.
