expometals.net is the permanent international online exhibition dedicated to the world of wire, tube, cable, fasteners, springs, sheet metal, and related products: open 24/7-365 days per year. Being on the web, the portal manages to attract thousands of visitors from all over the world. We have to be honest here, the pandemic did affect our growth, but positively, as shown by the clear progression recorded in the last year (+48% 2020 vs. 2019). No travel to plan, no tickets to buy, no planes to catch; grab a comfortable chair, turn on your laptop or tablet, and there you are, ready to keep in the loop with the latest industry trends, looking for suppliers and new products, and so on.

Just like traditional events, at expometals.net, we too keep track of accesses (logins) and profile visitors (as far as allowed by the GDPR, of course), and we are not afraid of showing our data to our audience.
If you’ve read our previous articles, you’ll already know that in 2020 our online exhibition recorded 347,000 visits, with an average of 950 visitors per day (including holidays and weekends). The portal, being always open to the public, can be reached at any time. If during Christmas lunch or while sunbathing on the beach, you were seized by an uncontrollable desire to know the latest trends in the field, expometals.net would be there for you. Jokes aside, the advantage of having a permanent exhibition is that - as we all know - business doesn't always care whether it's a holiday or a weekday. And sometimes, you must act on weekends to find products or suppliers and send requests for quotations.
Of course, there are times when the trade show is busier and others when there is more distancing (a popular word by today's standard) in our halls. On the peak day of 2020, expometals.net counted a maximum of 3227 unique users connected over 24 hours, with a peak of 411 visitors in one hour and 13619 page views.

This result fills us with pride and pushes us to aim even higher. First of all, because these data not only increase our prestige but also prove our value. expometals.net is committed to increasing the international visibility of companies in the sector, from the smallest to the largest. These figures are a testament to this commitment. As already said, we don't like to sit around. In recent years, we have invested time and resources - both human and economic - to release a brand new version of the portal by the end of 2021. There is still a lot of work to be done, but it will be worth it.
