Products and Services
Frontier Springs Ltd. specializes in a diverse range of hot wound springs. For the Indian Railways, key offerings include Suspension Coil Springs designed for freight stock, coaching stock, and various diesel and electrical locomotives, such as EMD, WAG 9, and WAG 7 models. The company also manufactures CLH and VLH Coil Springs specifically for the power sector, with BHEL being a notable client. Beyond railway and power applications, the product portfolio encompasses Vibration Control Springs, Agriculture Equipment Springs, Heavy Duty Coiled Springs, and Rail Road Passenger Springs. Through a collaboration with Contitech Germany, Frontier Springs Ltd. also produces air springs, aimed at enhancing ride comfort and safety for Indian Railways. The coil springs are fabricated from high-quality Chrome molly and Chrome Silicon Steel Rods, with wire diameters spanning from 10 mm to 65 mm and maximum free heights up to 1000 mm, available in both variable and fixed load rates.

This includes forging capabilities utilizing 1-ton, 3-ton, and 6-ton hammers, allowing for a forging range from 100 grams up to 80 kg. The plant also features various carburising furnaces and heat treatment systems. An in-house machine shop, outfitted with VMC, CNC turning, and VTL, handles all die tooling and component machining. Frontier Springs Ltd. maintains a state-of-the-art laboratory dedicated to rigorous testing and quality control, ensuring products adhere to specified international standards. The experienced engineering team can design springs using specialized software from the Institute of Spring Technology, Sheffield, based on client specifications.
