Headquartered in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, the company operates a manufacturing facility with a substantial capacity of up to 1.4 million tonnes or 3,000 km of pipes annually. Its ownership is equally shared by Salzgitter Mannesmann GmbH and AG der Dillinger Hüttenwerke, integrating EUROPIPE into a robust supply chain that spans from steel-making to pipe coating.
Products and Services
EUROPIPE specializes in producing large-diameter steel pipes ranging from 610 mm to 1,524 mm in outside diameter, with wall thicknesses up to 50 mm, and up to 170 mm for hot-formed bends. These pipes are designed for demanding applications, including the transport of natural gas, hydrogen, ammonia, and water, as well as for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) projects. The company offers specialized pipes for extreme conditions, such as arctic environments, ultra-deep ocean applications, and sour gas service, utilizing high-strength steel grades like X70, X80, and X100. Through its subsidiary, MÜLHEIM PIPECOATINGS GmbH, EUROPIPE provides advanced coating and lining solutions for corrosion and physical damage protection. Complementary services include comprehensive logistical support, inductive pipe bending, active corrosion protection using anodes, and buckle arrestors.
