CSM TUBE is an Italian company specialized in the production of welded stainless steel tubes for pressure applications across a wide range of industrial sectors.

Founded in 1983 as a manufacturing company focused on small diameter and thin wall tubes, typical of the sheathed heating element industry, the company has progressively expanded its dimensional range and achieved an annual production capacity of 70 million meters, building an international presence with production facilities and commercial operations in Italy, Germany, the United States, and Brazil. CSM TUBE is part of the CSM Group which, together with six other companies, covers the entire tube supply chain.

Technical features and processing

Production is focused on small diameter and thin wall tubes, ensuring high dimensional accuracy and consistent quality:

• • Dimensional range: diameters from 5.00 mm to 32.00 mm; wall thicknesses from 0.30 mm to 2.11 mm.

• • Delivery condition: straight lengths up to 23 meters or coils up to 2200 meters.

• • Material grades: austenitic, ferritic, duplex stainless steels and nickel alloys

• • In-line heat treatment in controlled atmosphere

• • Main application sectors: sheathed heating elements, water heaters, boilers, solar thermal systems, heat exchangers, food & beverage, automotive, energy sector.

Supply chain integration

Through CSM TRANSFORMING, the group is able to support customers from straight tube to finished component. This synergy makes it possible to supply tubes that are already pre-formed or machines for direct integration into applications such as heat exchangers, electric heating elements, and manifolds, reducing lead times and simplifying assembly processes.
