Cofit presents two primary screen changer series:
- The AP Series is designed for low-contaminated materials, featuring a patented, continuous, and self-cleaning system. It operates without motors, hydraulic, or pneumatic components, contributing to its cost-effectiveness, minimal maintenance needs, and robust performance. The AP series can handle pressures over 500 bar and offers filtration levels exceeding 10 microns, supporting outputs up to 1,300 kg/h for polymers like BOPP, BOPET, PE, PP, ABS, PET, Nylon, PA, PS, and TPU in various film and technical article productions.
- For highly contaminated post-consumer and post-industrial materials, the GorillaBelt Screen Changer provides automatic screen changes without halting extrusion. Its advanced sealing system minimizes polymer loss, while its robust steel construction ensures 24/7 productivity. The GorillaBelt operates up to 350 °C and 200 bar, processing up to 2,000 kg/h of materials such as HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP, ABS, and PS, suitable for pelletized products including film grade.
