Metinvest Group is a vertically integrated mining and steel group with a significant international presence. Products and Services
The Group's extensive portfolio includes a range of metallurgical products and services. Through its subsidiary Spartan UK, Metinvest produces hot-rolled plates, with a quarto universal reversing mill capable of producing up to 200 Ktonnes annually, certified to ISO 9001:2008. These plates have been used in notable projects such as 'The Shard' and Everton FC's stadium. Ferriera Valsider, another European asset, supplies hot-rolled steel coil and plate, contributing approximately 6% of total plate consumption in Italy and 3% in the EU, with products holding DNV Environmental Product Declarations. Additionally, Metinvest offers welded tubes and hollow sections.
In the United States, United Coal Company (UCC), a North American subsidiary since 2009, is a leading producer of metallurgical coal, employing both underground and surface mining techniques in West Virginia, Virginia, and Kentucky. The Group also provides comprehensive logistics solutions through METINVEST-SHIPPING LLC, Ukraine's leading national freight forwarding company. This entity manages rail and road transport, serving major ports and owning over 2,300 railway units and 11 locomotives, having transported over 364 million tons of cargo and serviced more than 9,000 vessels since 2010. It also performs metal product inspection at various Ukrainian sites and ports.
