Three companies, one group

BURGHARDT+SCHMIDT GmbH, based in Remchingen, is the world market leader in Stretch-Bend-Leveling Lines. SCHNUTZ GmbH, based in Siegen, invented the sheet leveling machine back in 1882 and remains the leading manufacturer of levelers today. b+s AUTOMATION GmbH, based in Duisburg, is the group's dedicated specialist for automation and control systems in coil processing lines. Together, the three companies draw on more than 180 years of combined engineering experience.

The group's joint portfolio spans the full range of equipment for processing metal strip — slitting, stretch-bend-leveling, cut-to-length, and multi-blanking lines, traverse winders, packaging lines, leveling machines and strip feeding systems — complemented by automation solutions covering every process level, from Level 0 to Level 3. With headquarters and production in Germany, branches in the U.S. and China, and a worldwide network of sales representatives, the b+s group supports customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their lines: from engineering and turnkey installation to spare parts, maintenance, retrofits and operator training.
