Wire, cable and processing technologies across the value chain
wire Düsseldorf goes beyond just showcasing finished wire products. The event encompasses the entire wire value chain and everything in between, featuring: tools and auxiliary materials, special wires and cables, as well as measuring, control, regulation, and testing technologies. The real showstoppers though will be the machines, which visitors will be able to see in action.
Starting from 2026, wire Düsseldorf is also going to expand its scope with the introduction of a dedicated cable area. The new thematic section, located in Hall 13, focuses on finished cable products and their end-use applications, giving greater visibility to cable manufacturers alongside traditional wire and processing technologies. This development reflects the growing relevance of the cable segment within the overall value chain, while maintaining strong links between the two sectors.
Wire & cable topics and emerging trends will be further dissected in the new wire & Cable FORUM, debuting as a conference format integrated into the exhibition. Hosted in Hall 13, the forum will feature expert presentations and panel discussions on topics such as digitalization, sustainability and advanced materials, in cooperation with industry associations and technical partners. The initiative is designed to complement the exhibition by fostering knowledge exchange and targeted networking across the wire and cable value chain.
